Diabetes Australia - Vic

Diabetes is the fastest growing chronic disease in Australia. DA–Vic’s work covers type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes, as well as programs for people at risk. We assist over 210,000 Victorians with diabetes and support over 43,000 members.

Your adventure will raise much needed funds for our Diabetes Camps Victoria program which provides children with type 1 diabetes with the opportunity to develop “independence through adventure”. Our camps give children with diabetes the opportunity to be with others who face the same challenges. Together at camp, they learn about diabetes and develop confidence in their ability to manage it. Many campers build lifelong friendships, creating a lasting network of friends and support.
