We are acutely aware that flying all over the world and encouraging others to do so comes at a price for the environment.

We strongly encourage our participants who are doing Inspired Adventures with our travel partners World Expeditions, Travelling Fit & Bike Style Tours to take responsibility for their environmental impact by offsetting their flights, You can get a idea of what the offset will be by using the calculator below. If you are doing an Inspired Adventure with Peregrine Adventures then your travel costs includes a compulsory carbon offset payment.

We also encourage you to download and read the Responsible Tourism Guides from our travel partners World Expeditions and Peregrine Adventures

How Inspired Adventures attempts to become CARBON NEUTRAL as a business.
  • We Reduce our Business Greenhouse Emissions by having an electricity account that is 100% 'Green Power'
  • We switch off all appliances on 'standby' at the power socket whenever possible and certainly every night before going to home (except the server)
  • We recycle everything we can, use recycled paper and print only when we have to
  • Use air-conditioning and heating sparingly and judiciously
  • All staff use public transport to get to work
  • Off-set the carbon emissions we cannot avoid (business flights)
  • We take time to educate ourselves on the issues
  • We are politically active, we march, we petition, we talk
  • We have ethical superannuation funds with Bendigo Bank
  • We don't stop looking for ways to reduce re-use recycle
