September 2-3: Antidote - A festival of ideas, art and action. Sydney, NSW

Held at Sydney Opera House, Antidote is a new festival for anyone who is worried about the world and wants to recharge, rethink and take action on issues including climate change, protest, race, activism, and more.

September 2 - October 27: The Women’s Adventure Film Festival Tour. Australia-wide

The Women’s Adventure Film Festival Tour calls for a celebration of fantastic women around us who are doing extraordinary things. After launching in Sydney in May, the festival will now tour to 14 locations around Australia. The films are provided by Mountainfilm Festival, Colorado, who are passionate about using film and art to change the world.

September 10: Yes to Marriage Equality. Sydney, NSW

Join seven of Australia’s local and national organisations who will co-host the Yes to Marriage Equality rally at Sydney’s town hall. Declare your support for LGBTI Australians and call for a yes vote in the upcoming postal plebiscite.

September 10: Green Heart Fair. Brisbane, QLD

Join Brisbane’s biggest sustainability and community festival, Green Heart Fair. A family friendly event, this is an opportunity to connect with sustainability experts, artisans, foodies, green-thumbs, conservationists, and environmental experts to share knowledge to live a more sustainable life.

September 27: B Corps and the new economy: A morning with Patagonia's Vincent Stanley. Sydney, NSW

Vincent Stanley is Patagonia’s Director of Philosophy and their longest serving employee. Join the B Corp community during their session B Corps and the new economy: A morning with Patagonia’s Vincent Stanley to learn about purpose driven business and hear his stories and learnings for a new economy.

October 14: How to Change the World. Melbourne, VIC

The School of Life offer classes dedicated to developing emotional intelligence. Hosted by activist Eyal Halamish, the event How to Change the World will examine practical skills to impact a cause you care about by uniting your personal values and passion for a just world.

December 3: She Went Wild. Sydney, NSW

Returning for it’s second year, the She Went Wild expo is returning to Sydney Showground this year. It’s an opportunity to get together with like minded women to attend interactive workshops, hear from adventure professionals and discover brands focusing directly on women. If you are looking to connect with others who are passionate about exploring the world, this one is for you.
