Inspired Adventures and Australian Outback Marathon are thrilled to offer your charity supporters an exclusive opportunity to take part in this stunning marathon - the 2026 Australian Outback Marathon in Uluru. With marathon events across the world experiencing a huge increase in participation, this is a rare chance to gain access to charity-only spots and have a powerful impact.

When: 26th of July 2026
Although this race is popular with local runners, for most, it’s a once in a lifetime experience. It’s not every day marathoners get to take in the stunning views of Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) as the kilometres tick by.
In addition to its beauty, the marathon course is relatively flat, with only a couple inclines and sand dunes. Most of the course is on unsealed roads, bush tracks and soft-sand trails, with a few small sand dunes and plenty of Australia’s famed “Red Earth” thrown in for good measure.
How it works
Decide on which marathon partner package you would like to proceed with (Gold or Silver). Once confirmed we will have a kick off call with your Inspired Campaign Manager to run through the coming months.
We build your marketing suite and marathon campaign to share with your brilliant supporters, getting them excited to get onboard.
Your runners will register with Australia Outback Marathon via a private, charity-partner-only registration form. Upon registration, runners will have a fundraising page set up for them automatically, connected to your organisation.
Runners pay their travel package cost directly to Australia Outback Marathon and then fundraise separately for your cause. Runners will need to book flights independently. Watch your donations roll in through the Grassrootz fundraising platform. Currently we are seeing an average of $13k raised per marathon participant.
