Trip notes

Day 1: Summit Mount Washington

Begin at Pinkham Notch, ascending the Tuckerman Ravine Trail (4.2 miles) to Mount Washington's summit. Descend via the Crawford Path to Lakes of the Clouds Hut (3 miles).

Day 2: Mount Monroe - Mount Eisenhower - Mount Pierce

Traverse the Presidential Range along the Appalachian Trail (7 miles), summiting Mounts Monroe, Eisenhower, and Pierce. Stay at Mizpah Spring Hut.

Day 3: Mount Jackson - Mount Webster

Continue to Mount Jackson and Mount Webster (5 miles) before descending into Crawford Notch. Shuttle to Franconia Notch to overnight.

Day 4: Franconia Ridge Loop

Tackle the iconic Franconia Ridge Loop (8.9 miles), summiting Little Haystack, Mount Lincoln, and Mount Lafayette with miles of exposed ridge walking above treeline.
