Join us with confidence

We understand the dilemma of making travel plans when the world feels unpredictable right now. You can still register for an Inspired Adventure in complete confidence, because we promise to look after you should COVID-19 travel bans affect your plans.

Keeping you safe

The safety of our participants, leaders and crew, staff and suppliers is our highest priority. Inspired Adventures is committed to rebuilding tourism and recommencing operations in a safe and responsible way for all of our stakeholders.

Inspired Adventures has developed a stringent COVID-19 Pandemic Safety Management Plan in cooperation with government guidelines, tourism boards and the advice of medical experts to minimise the risks associated with travel as best as possible.

Operating within the tourism industry comes with a unique set of challenges. The plan outlines our safety standards and practices in relation to pre-departure requirements, group travel, food preparation, sightseeing, modes of transport including boats/rafts, camping and specific adventure activities.

In addition to being first-aid trained, all Inspired Adventures Team Leaders and Australian-based head guides are required to complete the online Infection Control Training course developed by the Australian government.

Flexible bookings

If COVID-19 travel bans mean your Inspired Adventure cannot go ahead as scheduled, we will endeavour to reschedule the departure to a later date to allow you still to travel as planned.

If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a travel credit to the value of any funds paid to Inspired Adventures. This travel credit can be used towards another Inspired Adventure within 12 months of what would have been your departure date.

If your plans change for reasons outside of COVID-19 travel bans, our standard terms and conditions for cancellations apply.

Vaccination Policy

Inspired Adventures requires that all travellers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as described in government guidelines and ground operator requirements.

To be a fully vaccinated person, you must:

  • have had 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, or
  • have had 1 dose of a COVID-19 vaccine for which a single dose is a complete course, or
  • have a medical contraindication certificate issued, or
  • have a medical contraindication recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register or New Zealand Immunisation Register that prevents you from receiving any approved COVID-19 vaccine available in Australia or New Zealand.

Additionally, the COVID-19 vaccine must be a vaccine approved by Therapeutic Goods Administration of the Commonwealth if travelling within Australia or by COVID Vaccination Technical Advisory Group if travelling within New Zealand as an appropriate vaccine against COVID-19.

It is the participant's responsibility to ensure they are aware of any additional requirements for travel from their departure state and arrival point, as well as any layover locations and the requirements of the airline they are travelling with for providing negative COVID-19 PCR test results.
