The Challenge

In Australia, MND kills two people every day. Another two people will be diagnosed daily, exponentially growing the number of Australians impacted.

Join the Never Give Up Three Peaks Challenge 2023 and you’ll raise vital funds for support, equipment and education for people with MND, their families and their carers.

As part of this incredible adventure, in one epic day you’ll trek the Australian Alps to the summit of three of Australia’s highest peaks – Mount Carruthers, Etheridge Ridge and Mount Kosciuszko. Immersed in the sparse beauty of Australia’s only true alpine region, you’ll follow well-worn tracks through subalpine meadow and snow gum forest. You’ll marvel at granite outcrops carved by glacial waters and witness the rugged untouched wilderness of the Snowy Mountains from the rooftop of Australia.

Best of all, with every step you take, you’ll raise vital funds to help MND NSW provide and promote the best possible care and support for people living with MND.

People with MND face a multitude of losses during the progression of this incurable fatal disease.

MND NSW makes available 2075 items of assistive equipment - valued at over $3 million - to help maintain the quality of life of someone living with MND. But it’s only made possible with your support.

As part of this incredible adventure, you’ll fund life-changing support, equipment and education for people with MND, their families and their carers.

The funds you raise will assist to:

  • Let people with MND know they’re not alone through regular phone calls and home visits
  • Provide information, resources and assistive equipment to help people with MND maintain quality of life
  • Educate health professionals and carers in the best possible care for people with MND
  • Advocate for increased awareness of
  • MND and ensure equity of services and support

With every step you take as part of the Never Give Up Three Peaks Challenge 2023, you’ll tell families and carers that you appreciate their commitment, and you’ll tell people with MND that they’re never alone in their journey.

Alone, we can’t move at all. But together, we can move mountains.
