Rohan’s Private departure: Kilimanjaro Climb For Miracle Babies Foundation
In 2024, Rohan Bentley partnered with Inspired Adventures to organise a private challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, raising $51,485 for Miracle Babies Foundation, which supports families of premature and critically ill newborns. Motivated by the challenges he faced when his daughter Elka was born prematurely, Rohan assembled a team of family, friends, and colleagues, including his daughters Elka and Anika, to share this meaningful journey. The group prepared through practice hikes and monthly meetings, while their fundraising efforts included a Salesforce Tower Stairclimb, school events, and contributions from corporate sponsors like Deloitte, Accenture, and Coforge. Along the way, they strengthened bonds, created lasting memories, and gave back to the local community in Tanzania by donating sports equipment to the Amani Centre for Street Children. This unforgettable adventure showcased the power of combining purpose with passion.
